LO1 - Related design pieces from 3 companies



V Festival Ticket

a) purpose = To allow the user passage into the festival
b)format = Ticket
c) content = Ticket Details, Bar codes, Logos, various comments/information, includes all needed information
d) style = Pink with white boxes and black text. Resembles other graphics from V fest. Cartoon style, with little characters across the bottom they are not very visible not distracting you from the rest of the ticket something you see peripherally.
e) layout = layed out like a standard ticket, but with graphics that overlap, which makes it look 3D and unique. 
f) target audience = People attending the event.
g) regulatory bodies = No offensive material on the graphic.

V Festival Flyer

a) purpose = to advertise V festival
b) format = Flyer
c) content = Dates, Logo, Sponsors, Graphic, Bands Playing, Location
d) style = Information on the right, graphics on the left. Contrasting green with purple, red text against blue stands out. Graphics are cartoons. Resembles other graphics but this time are colored and more detailed playing a bigger part in the graphic. Rays in the background connote big,power etc.
e) layout =   Information on the right, graphics on the left. Location then date then bands. 
f) target audience = People interested in V festival, Rock music, the bands playing, concerts 
g) regulatory bodies = No offence material all logos will have permission

a) purpose = to advertise V festival
b) format = Poster
c) content = Dates, Logo, Sponsors, Graphic, Bands Playing, time
d) style = Cartoon style graphics. Blue and white theme, Informative center justification, minimal graphics, basic colour, has sponsors across the bottom not a primary focus, Text gets smaller as the graphic goes on, main focus is the top half as that has the biggest text.
e) layout = All graphics and information centralized, divided into two columns
f) target audience = People interested in V festival, Rock music, the bands playing, concerts 
g) regulatory bodies = No offence material all logos will have permission




Tramlines Flyer

a) purpose = To inform the viewer about the event. 
b)format = Flyer
c) content = Bands playing, dates, website details. 
d) style = Lime colour with a yellow border - looks like an old poster, aged. Doesn't follow the regular Tramlines graphics, usually red and black. Uses traditional text - rounded easy to read, variety of texts, different for each band - makes other stand out. Roaming Son stands out the most been one of the most important due to its black outline. White contrast well with the green.
e) layout = Simplistic border. Clearly divided sections (Event name,logos etc - bands playing, dates - More details)
f) target audience =  People interested in V festival, Rock music, the bands playing, concerts
g) regulatory bodies = No offensive material on the graphic. 



Tramlines Poster

a) purpose = To inform the viewer about the event. 
b) format = Poster
c) content = logo, dates, times, bands, has social network links on it.  Has all needed information.
d) style = Informative, not many graphics, split into days. Follows regular tramlines graphics, Simplisitic, heavily word based. 
e) layout = Black and white red highlights, low opacity image in the background.  Left justification. 
f) target audience =  People interested in Tramlines, Rock music, the bands playing, concerts
g) regulatory bodies = No offensive material on the graphic. 



Tramlines T-shirts

a) purpose = allows the user to promote the event serves as a form of clothing.
b)format = T-shirt
c) content = Tramlines logo, dates.
d) style = Minimalistic, one graphic, centralized. Different coloured logo for different days - is unique. Simplistic, range of colours.
e) layout = Centralized, logo largest image, small text. 
f) target audience =  People interested in Tramlines, Rock music, the bands playing, concerts


g) regulatory bodies = No offensive material on the graphic. 




Doc Fest Web Banner

a) purpose = To advertise Doc fest
b)format = Web Banner
c) content = Date, Title, web link, graphic
d) style = Modern, dark colours, greys, pink features. 
e) layout =  "Doc Fest" and the sheep are the main focus been put near the centre, bar across the bottom to link and a date at the side.  Date is put separately - the most important piece of information, easily stands out from the rest - but not the main focus.
f) target audience = People wanting to buy tickets for doc fest
g) regulatory bodies = No intended offensive material on the graphic. 




Doc Fest Merchandise

a) purpose = To advertise Doc fest, allows user to use for piratical purposes 
b) format = Clothing and bag.
c) content =  Text, logos, white stripes - contrasts with pink and black.
d) style = Modern, Jet black, pink text.  Follows Doc fests house style, sponsors all on one line. text is the main focus stands out the most, logos are small and in the corner so that they do not stand out.
e) layout =  Text centralized. Logos small and above Text is the main focus, throughout all merchandise here and throughout most doc fest graphics. Doesn't have a main image. Text based.
f) target audience = People wanting to have a bag or clothing or even promote the event, show appreciation. 
g) regulatory bodies = No intended offensive material on the graphic. 

Doc Fest Poster



a) purpose = To advertise Doc fest
b)format = Poster
c) content =  Text, logos, dates 
d) style = Pink, rough, minimalistic, informative, sponsors next to the logo. Clear layout, date is the main focus.  Dotted lines - looks like a type writer, old style. Follows doc fest style from all graphics 
e) layout =  Dates is the main focal point; taking up most of the graphic . Logos smaller above
f) target audience = People interested in Doc Fest. 
g) regulatory bodies = No intended offensive material on the graphic.
